You don’t have to be traveling anyone special to get a fine art photo op stop. When I’m just out and about on a normal day when I see something interesting I have been working on stopping.
Even when your in the middle of no where there are still fine art photo op stops that can be made. My husband found this old barn building thats made out of two by fours and thought it would make a cool shot for me so we pulled over and stopped. The simplest things can make the coolest fine art photo op stops.
This picture was taken between Rexburg and Rigby I had pulled off onto a side road as the sun was going down. I saw this old sugar mill building by the railroad tracks and this small water pond in front of it and loved what I saw. I decided I wanted to make this a silhouette picture so I didn’t light up the foreground and let the sunset show in the background.
This fine art photo op stop is a usual for me because it’s on my way to work. I have the amazing opportunity to drive over the Snack River at least four times a week. I get to see how beautiful the river is especially as the seasons change.
