About

I’m Tasha Larsen a communications major at Brigham Young University Idaho. I was born and raised in Rigby, Idaho where I grew up playing outside making mud soup and building forts. The reason I decided to be a communications major is because in high school I was in yearbook and fell in love with every aspect of it. From taking the pictures to designing the pages I found joy in every minute put towards the project at hand. I knew then I would love to have a career centered around design someday.

I got married this past July to the love of my life Austin Larsen. He completes me in more ways then he could ever know. Two days after our wedding while on our honeymoon we were in a very tragic accident. We both were injured and were sent to the hospital shortly after arriving at the hospital I was taken by life flight to Idaho Falls because I had a broken back, collarbone and a lacerated kidney. Needless to say we started out marriage a little rough and I had to wear my turtle shell back brace for the first four months of our marriage. I’ve had to remember as we’ve gone through this trial that everything happens for a reason and we will be stronger in the end.
