A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to go to the Legacy Flight Museum to do a 1940s fashion shoot. I was able to get these great American Military Fashion shots along with many other great pictures of the planes and old vehicles.
Part of making this shoot as realistic and accurate as we could we were able to have our models dress in authentic American Military fashion. The above shot I even took portion of an old world war II poster and added it to my image.
This picture above was taken outside and it was a little tricky because the sky was blown out and I didn’t have a light to brighten up his face. I had to shoot at normal settings so his face would be bright, which made my sky blown out. So I went and found a sunset stock image and I masked the two images together to make the sky look more interesting.
This last picture is actually two different pictures put together. I liked the idea of having a flag as the background and then having one of my American Military Fashion models placed in front of the flag. I was super excited with how realistic and natural the picture turned out looking.
