Military Couples

Being the spouse of someone in the Military can be very difficult. Military couples spend so much time a part especially when there are active wars going on. Military men and women have families too and we should remember them as well as those serving.

I had the opportunity to go to the Legacy Flight Museum and take pictures of models dressed up in authentic clothing from the 1940s.I wanted my military couples pictures to tell a story. When someone looks at them I wanted them to think how hard it would’ve been and is for those men and women to leave the love of their life to go protect our freedom.

These first three images were taken outside using mostly natural light and a couple I used a light orb just to make sure their face wasn’t dark. Even though it isn’t the 1940s anymore and military couples may not dress this way anymore, there are still many men and women who leave their families to make us Free. Thank those who have served for our freedom.
