Fashion photography is a great skill to have because its a growing need for companies. While I was at the Legacy Flight Museum I was able to snatch a couple of shots featuring fashion accessories.
One of the key things to remember when taking pictures of fashion accessories is to crop in close. You want your main focus to be the accessory that you are trying to showcase. Having too much going on in the picture will distract from subject.
Often times we think of accessories as only being earrings and necklaces, but accessories can be buttons or patches on a shirt. Using a 50 mm lens or a macro lens are great for getting close up fashion accessory shots. Besides these fashion accessory shots I have been doing fashion shoots for Mila Couture a locally open clothing store in Idaho Falls.
